Ora Originals

I’m Madeline Ora. I’ve been passionate about fashion since I was a little girl playing dress up in The Children’s Place dressing room. In 2020, I taught myself how to sew on my grandmother’s sewing machine. Since then, I’ve honed in my skills and modeled, photographed, creative directed, styled, and forecasted trends, collections, and photoshoots.

From the beginning, sustainability and consumption has always been important to me. That’s why I created all of my pieces using secondhand materials and fabrics, making every piece a One of One. An Original. Just like you.

When I'm not sewing or sourcing, I am researching trends, creative directing, styling, planning collections, and creating content.

Currently, Ora Originals can be found at Blush Boutique in Louisville, Kentucky at 3745 Lexington Rd, Lousiville, KY 40207.

This spring, Ora Originals had our fashion show debut at the 2025 KMAC Couture Fashion Show. The show is put on every year by the Kentucky Derby Festival as a fundraiser for the show’s namesake, the KMAC Contemporary Art Museum. Each artist is chosen by a commitee based off of their design submissions and their relevancy to the yearly theme. In 2025, the theme was Lucky 13 to celebrate the 13th year of the show.
